Fight for the Spot: Enter to Win A Tournament Seat!

You and four friends could compete in the Fight for the Crown tournament!

We’re excited about our first official team-based tournament, “H1Z1: Fight for the Crown”, but we’re even MORE excited to open up one of the slots to a team built within our community! From now until 12PM PT on Friday, March 3, we want to give a team who wouldn’t otherwise be able to compete the chance of a lifetime – free travel to Los Angeles and a shot at a prize pool of $300,000!

Here’s how to enter the H1Z1: Fight for the Spot Contest:

  1. Get 4 teammates to join you, and together come up with a killer team name
  2. Make sure all 5 of you are eligible to compete in the “H1Z1: Fight for the Crown” tournament (including being ranked on this Twin Galaxies H1Z1 leaderboard in the past 6 months)
  3. Head to Votigo to complete the contest application, which each member of your team will need to individually fill out
  4. Be sure you each include your team name (so we can tie your entries together) and share with us an essay that answers the prompt “Why does your team deserve a spot in the ‘H1Z1: Fight for the Crown’ tournament?” (you can include things such as financial need, why your team wouldn’t be able to come to Los Angeles otherwise, gameplay statistics, and more)

If selected, each member of your team will receive a round-trip flight to Los Angeles and a 3-night hotel stay near where the tournament takes place. Plus, your team will be competing in the “H1Z1: Fight for the Crown” tournament, which means you could take home your share of $300,000!

Now for some of the fine print: You can only apply as part of one team (no multiple entries for a single person allowed). If one member of your team submits themselves to multiple teams, all teams that that member has submitted as part of will be disqualified. Your essay entry being validated does not mean that your Twin Galaxies placement has been validated yet. This contest is open to all legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 or older at the time of entry. The deadline for submissions is 12PM PT on Friday, March 3, and you can read the full rules here.
