H1Z1 Invitational: Event Specifics

Here's how the H1Z1 Invitational will be structured, how the prize pool will be divided, and more!

We’re on the Road to TwitchCon and the first ever H1Z1 Invitational prize pool is, at the time of this article’s publication, over $100,000. But what exactly is the H1Z1 Invitational? How will it work? And how can you still get a seat?

The H1Z1 Invitational:

Who?
The competitors in the Invitational include Twitch streamers invited to play in the event, #H1Z1contest winners, and players determined on-site at TwitchCon. You can see some of the invited players by visiting the Invitational Page.

What?
The Invitational consists of two (2) games of Standard Battle Royale play. These means that someone may have the sweet taste of victory (or experience the agony of defeat) TWICE during the event.

When/Where?
The H1Z1 Invitational is taking place at TwitchCon 2015 in San Francisco, California. We’ll begin streaming the event LIVE at 10:30AM PDT on Saturday, September 26th.

Why?
Because there’s over $100,000 in cash, as well as prizes from our sponsors Razer and Alienware, on the line! And that’s not just going to one winner… up to TWENTY people could win part of the pot! The prize pool will be divided evenly between the two Standard Battle Royale games, and then the top ten players of each game will receive a percentage of the prize pool!

  • What happens if someone comes in 1st in Game 1 and 5th in Game 2?
    • They get the prizes for both places!
  • What happens if someone is last in Game 1 but 10th in Game 2?
    • They get the prizes for 10th Place in Game 2.
  • What happens if someone is 15th in Game 1 and 12th in Game 2?
    • We hope they enjoyed competing.

How do I get in on this?
If you’re over 18 and a US resident, and it’s before 11:00PM Pacific Time on August 31st, you can enter our #BRBadass contest: http://daybreakgames.votigo.com/fbcontests/profiletab/H1Z1-Road-to-Twitch-Con-Contest-1

You can also catch all the action LIVE on Twitch during the event itself! Stay tuned for more information about when and where to tune in.

Are there more rules for the competitors?
Of course. You can read them in full here: https://www.h1z1.com/invitational-rules
