You’ve Still Got a Shot at the Invitational!

Going to TwitchCon? Enter the Qualifiers on Saturday, October 1! 

The H1Z1 Invitational is just days away, with well over $250,000 on the line. Are you headed to TwitchCon and don’t have a seat in the main event yet? All hope is not lost for you!

We have reserved five (5) seats in the H1Z1 Invitational on Sunday, October 2, 2016, for the five players who come in first during our Qualifier Rounds at TwitchCon on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Think you have what it takes to get the crown in your round? Here’s how it will work:

The Qualifier Rounds will take place in the H1Z1: King of the Kill booth (Gaming Lab B) on site at TwitchCon 2016. Here is the schedule for Saturday, October 1, 2016:

Qualifier Round 1 – 11:00AM
Qualifier Round 2 – 12:00PM
Qualifier Round 3 – 2:00PM
Qualifier Round 4 – 3:00PM
Qualifier Round 5 – 4:00PM

Sign-ups for each round will open one hour prior to start time. This means if you want to participate in Round 1, you will need to be at the booth to register for a spot at 10:00AM PT. You will only be able to register for one round at a time. If you want to register for Qualifier Round 4 at 3:00PM, for example, you will need to come to the booth at 2:00PM to sign up for your spot and receive your wristband. All seats in the Qualifier Rounds are given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once you have a seat in the match, you’ll have 15 minutes to set up your station. A few notes on set-up:

You must use the provided Corsair peripherals. You may not use any personal peripherals.
No personal streaming will be allowed during the Qualifiers. Qualifier Rounds will be streamed on www.h1z1.com/watch.
You may only adjust setting and keybindings through the in-game settings. No changes can be made to game .INI files.

There will be Daybreak tournament staff onsite to assist you if you make it into a Qualifier Round and have additional questions.

So, what happens if you win?!?!

The first place finisher in each Qualifier Round will earn a seat in the H1Z1 Invitational on Sunday, October 2. Make sure you stick around to talk to a Daybreak staff member if you win as more information about check-in times and other Invitational details will be provided on-site after a player has won his/her match.

If you participate in a Qualifier Round and come in First Place, you will not be able to sign up to compete in any additional rounds. If you come in Second Place, you will be placed on the “alternates” list for the Invitational, in case a competitor is unable to compete. Second Place finishers will be seeded based on number of kills; if a tie-breaker is needed, the scores from the match will be used. If you finish a round in Second Place, you can try to get a seat in a later Qualifier Round to go for that First Place finish!

Not going to TwitchCon but still want to catch the action?

All five Qualifier Rounds will be streamed LIVE on www.h1z1.com/watch. This new Watch site will also include additional features like in-game stats displaying live as the match is in process. Tune-in starting at 11:00AM Pacific time on Saturday, October 1.

The Casters for the Qualifier Rounds are SUP3RSoN1K and Blaze. Known for his raw energy and passion, SUP3RSoN1K made his way to the top the H1Z1 community shoutcasting competitive H1Z1 events. He is the host and founder "The Chicken Dinner Show" and serves as Team eLevate’s H1Z1 Director. Blaze is an esports personality with an infectious attitude that hooks in viewers. His style is all about trying to look into the minds of the players and bring that understanding to the audience.
